Point Standings
The Final Point Standings for 2012 are posted below. It was just brought to our attention that the rulebook specifies that when there are less than four entries in a class, the number of points awarded is reduced by 25. All points totals have been adjusted to reflect this correction. While this did change the point totals, it did not change of the overall order of finishers. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused. Drop races were also removed and the total points are reflected in the far right hand column.
It should also be noted that our 2012 Rules required participation in 3/4 of the Series events in order to qualify for year end awards. So in classes that had 8 events, a minimum of 6 events were required and in classes with 4 events, 3 were required to receive year end awards. After everyone has had a chance to review the points and notify us of any discrepencies, we will designate those that have qualifed for year end awards so your status is clear.
Please double check the spelling of your name on the final points and review the standings to ensure your points are correct. If you are a WKA member and there is no WKA number next to your name, you need to provide that to MWSS as soon as you can.
