About MWSS Memberships
All competitors must be both MWSS and WKA members to accumulate Series points and to then transfer those points to a national WKA series. A MWSS membership is good for a calendar year. Only the driver needs to be a member.  Kidkart competitors do not need to be WKA members, but must be MWSS members.

Temporary Memberships
A competitor who wishes to participate in a Series event but does not desire to accumulate Series points can obtain a temporary (1-event) membership for $10.00. Temporary members will not accumulate MWSS points for that event. If a person chooses to become a MWSS member at an event after using a temporary membership, the previous one event attended as a temporary member will be counted towards the member’s MWSS points.

WKA Memberships
All competitors participating in a WKA sanctioned class must also be members of the World Karting Association. WKA cards must be presented by all drivers at each event. Failure to present the WKA card may disallow a driver from participating in the event. A competitor who wishes to participate in a Series event but does not desire to be a WKA member can obtain a temporary WKA (1-event) membership for $5.00. A driver competing in a non-WKA class (Kid karts) does not need to be a WKA member, nor purchase a WKA temporary membership for events he/she participates in.
