Note: Tech items subject to change at any time. All tech related items are the responsibility of the competitor. While we attempt to review the karts to the best of our ability and ensure everything is legal, it is the sole responsibility of the competitor to ensure they are current with all tech updates, differences between WKA and MWSS rules, and the entire kart is legal.
Pre-Tech:
The primary purpose of pre-race inspections is to establish that safety requirements have been met by each competitor prior to their entering the track. It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide, for pre-race inspection, the vehicle exactly as is to be raced on that day. If a vehicle has been pre-inspected and the entrant changes/adjusts, etc., components that have been inspected, without making inspectors aware of said changes, the prior inspection may be invalid and the entrant may be subject to disqualification for the event and/or suspension. Items to be looked at in pre-tech shall include safety wiring/pins/clips, equipment/apparel per WKA tech manual.
Procedures for Pre-tech of the kart should be in a consistent way, start with the right front wheel and make a complete walk around, ending at the starting point.
