Komet Clutch Update
While WKA will be requiring the new drum type clutch for the Komet classes beginning with the Man Cup race at MRP, MWSS will allow both clutches to be used for the 2010 season. This will allow racers and shops to use up the consumable parts inventory if they desire. There appears to be no difference in performance between the clutches, as both clutches are low lockup types and play little role once the karts are off the grid. This applies to Komet Lite/Heavy; Komet Jr. Lite/Heavy; and Komet Sportsman Lite/Heavy.
