Yamaha Rookie Class Update
MWSS is proud to officially announce the addition of the Yamaha Rookie class for the 2010 race season. This class was tested as a local option in 2009 at several venues and was well received. Based on racer input and other factors, the following rules package has been created to support this class. Engine: Yamaha KT100s (WKA rules) Exhaust: RLV - YBX can (3 hole) Tires: Bridgestone YKC, 4.50 front and rear Weight: Standard Chassis, 220 lbs; Cadet Chassis, 230 lbs. Age: 7-10 years. Beginner 11-12 year olds may be allowed with Board approval.
Other: If you are a past MWSS champion in any class other than Kidkarts, you are ineligible for this class. This class is intended as a rookie class. Best 7 of 10 finishes will count toward Championship points.
