Important Update for Event #1
Event #1, the MyChron Grand Prix is just around the corner. The final details are being ironed out as we speak. As this event is in conjunction with a previously scheduled MRP Club event, a couple changes to the program were needed to accommodate everything. 1) The Yamaha Jr. Lite and Heavy class days have been switched to allowing combining of the MRP and MWSS Lite class on Sunday. Heavy will run Saturday at this event only. 2) Komet (KPP) Sportsman Heavy, previously scheduled for Sunday, will run on Saturday, along with Komet Sportsman Lite. This classes will be run sequentially, with weight changes only being required every other track appearance. (lite, heavy, heavy, lite) All of these changes were necessary to make this program work and to get this great opportunity to race at MRP right before the WKA Man Cup. A summary of the raceday schedule is below. It is subject to change based on entries in each class, etc. If you are planning to run in a MRP only class, you will need MRP approved tires. Contact MRP for more information. Spec fuel will be available at the track. The cost will be $9.00/gal. All WKA Man Cup approved oils (Burris, Redline, etc..) are allowed. See WKA's website (www.worldkarting.com) to see which are approved. Each day will start with a driver's meeting at 8:30, with 1 round of practice at 9:00. Qualifying and racing to follow.
